RS Vision Mast Up Tented Cover - Sailboat Top Cover

Overview:

The RS Vision sailboat mast up tented cover will completely enclose your RS Vision deck , protecting your boat it from the elements with the mast up and the boom parallel to the deck. Our polyester RS Vision cover fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and webbing tie down points and fully wraps under the transom (the back of the boat) and is reinforced for the rudder gudgeons. This cover is installed with the mast and boom up and has five cutouts: one for the mast, two for the shrouds, one for the forestay and one to attach a halyard to the end of the boom. The mast cutout has a tall collar with a tie closure and a large #10 YKK zipper is used between the mast base cutout and the starboard shroud cutout for ease of use and durability. The zipper is also covered with a flap of fabric to increase UV resistance. The forestay and the shrouds have Velcro flap closures. You can add straps and/or reflective tape in the upgrade menu found above. *Please indicate whether you would like the cutout at the bow to accommodate only the forestay or if you would like to be able to leave the jib on the boat. The cut out will be larger and make it possible to leave the forestay and the furlered jib on the boat. Leaving the jib on the boat without out a cover is not recommended as it will severly shorten the life of your sail. We sell Jib Snorkels to cover the jib if you choose to leave the jib on the boat. *
