Overview:
Our Phantom mooring cover fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water.
This cover is installed with the mast up and the spars and sail down. This cover is held on by an elastic cord in the hem of the cover; there are also tie down points about every three feet around the cover. There is a cutout for the mast that has a tall tie-on collar; the mast cutout is connected to the side of the cover with a large #10 YKK zipper between the mast cutout and the starboard gunwale. The zipper is also covered with a flap of fabric to increase UV resistance.
The spars and sail that protrude off the back of the boat are covered with an attached Velcro on flap that wraps around the spars, protecting your spars and sail from UV damage.
You can add straps (click here for more information) in the upgrade menu found above.
We offer this cover in three different fabric types, look over the fabrics in the drop down chart below.
Note:
This cover will work best and allow for the main halyard to remain completely run through the masthead and deck leads if it is 29 feet long or longer. Shorter main halyards will work but you may need to partially unreeve them to make it all work fine.
