Free Sailcloth Color Samples

These samples are FOR SAILBOAT SAILS ONLY. If you are interested in sailcloth for other applications (keep in mind this is likely not appropriate for your use because it is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN ANYTHING ELSE) please call us at 805-479-6122 ext. 3.

Please limit your selection to 5 colors or fewer. This will allow us to continue to offer sail cloth color samples for free.

Sailcloth colors are VERY limited, and in most cases "you get what you get" because manufacturers just aren't making them. Red is Red and Blue is Blue. We have done our best to have pictures of all the available color options from different suppliers but not all colors photograph well, especially oranges, pinks, and anything fluorescent. If you are particular about color or are trying to match something specific, a good place to start is looking at physical samples.

To Order Color Sailcloth Samples:

1. Tell us the type of boat you have that you're looking to get a sail for

2. Select the fabric weight you are interested in, using the dropdown menu

3. Use the text box to list which specific colors you would like samples of and you will receive a labeled 3"x4" sample of each.

Please use the exact names in the images when saying which sailcloth color you would like.

• 4oz sailcloth is suitable for small mono hull dinghies, examples include the Capri 14.2 and Sunfish. 4oz sailcloth is NOT suitable for beach cats 16ft or larger. 4oz sailcloth may be suitable for light air sails on other boats, please call us at 805-479-6122 ext. 3, if you are interested in this. 
• 5oz sailcloth is suitable for slightly larger mono hull dinghies, in the 15-18ft range, and certain small keelboat sails. 
• 5.6oz sailcloth is appropriate for beach cats, larger dinghies, and small keelboats, up to 24ft, depending on the sail and application.
