Batten Set for a HOLDER 20 Race Level Mainsail - by SLO Sail and Canvas.
DESCRIPTION:
This batten set is precision made with top-notch components, including:
- 16 / Precut 1" X 1.5" self adhesive Challenge sailtape (white) strips for batten ends - customer to fit after trimming battens
- 1 / Light Duty Tapered Leech Batten 100% Vinylester. Made by Bluestreak PART# BD140 - 40"
- 2 / Medium Duty Tapered Leech Batten 100% Vinylester. Made by Bluestreak PART# BD240 - 40"
- 1 / 5/8" Pultruded Fiberglass Batten PART# BA5A 40" with Bluestreak 15mm Outer Slotted endcap PART# BS-BC1506
NOTES:
As class rules do not govern batten pocket lengths, this batten set may not work with other mainsails made by sailmakers other than SLO Sail and Canvas.
Additional trimming (to fit battens) IS REQUIRED by customer, see our YouTube video for detailed and specific instructions.
Trimming to fit process is fairly easy & requires only a hacksaw, sharpie marker, and sandpaper.
